Growing in Christ
The Oxon Hill Church of Christ Youth Ministry is dedicated to helping our youth overcome the pitfalls associated with growing up in a fallen world. We realize today’s children are sometimes faced with an overwhelming and growing number of temptations that could very easily lead them down a path contrary to Gods word. Our goal is to equip our youth to successfully navigate past these temptations using the Godly principles given to us in God’s word. We approach this in several ways, some of which are listed below.

• Developing spiritual growth by providing Bible based Sunday school classes for all ages.
• Holding social events and outings to foster fellowship and long lasting Christian relationships.
• Providing leadership training by participating in the Leadership Training for Christ (LTC) program.

We realize these are tough times and this can sometimes feel like an uphill battle, but with parental support and a commitment to obey Gods word, we can be successful. Our youth will not only be better equipped to avoid worldly temptations, they will also develop a solid Christian foundation and a desire to draw closer to God.
